I've always wanted an iPhone. Been browsing through various websites in search for reviews when it came out a year ago. But at that point of time, I couldn't afford it as my saving was limited.

So when I heard about a new model, iPhone 3Gs appearance and had since received tremendous applications in US, i decided to start saving. More. I was expecting it to arrive Sin somewhere in September or October and hoping that I could be among the first few to own it. I even registered as a member with Singtel so as to be able to find out of any latest news. Semangat, I know. But it really surprised me when I received a notification from the chosen service provider that iPhone 3Gs will be launched from 10th to 12th July 2009 and those who wish to purchase had to make reservation and placed an advanced $50 deposit.

So apelagi, I quickly made my online transaction. At first I decided to grab the 16GB black, but towards the end I changed my mind and chose the white colour instead. Ask me why?... Because it's unique & only iPhone 3Gs came with that colour. So at least, people will know that I'm using the latest version. Showing off? Hmm not really la. Just for you to envy. LOL!

My collection date was on the third/last day of the launch which was on Sunday, 12th July 09. As it was on news 2 days before that people had to wait up to 6hrs just to get hold of the new gadget, similar thing happened on the final day of event. Except that I dont have to queue that long. Approximately, I waited for about 2 to 3 hours before leaving the Comm Centre @ Somerset.

Imagine. I just came back from my night shift and got home to wash up before heading to the location. Was very shagged but it was worth the wait. Met with the lovelies after making purchases on the accessories.
