Past days were the WORST especially when Major Project submission date was coming. Lirong, Safwah & myself stayed in school to almost 9pm every single day to get our programs running perfectly.

Our proposed date for the presentation with both evaluator and supervisor was on Monday at 10am, which was 2 days ago. However, things started to get darn bitchy on Thursday evening. The IP telephone was not working when we restarted the hanged PC. Tried various ways to get the connection and re-run the IIS in the server but still, it just refused to get the freaking connection.

Come Friday after my french peresentation, when we came back to check, another matter arose. The PC was locked by don't know who. Typed out all the passwords that we could think of, but still to no avail. Called our supervisor and the lecturer who was in charge of the lab but they didn't seem to know what the password was. Thought of using the other side PC to run my asp.net/wml program which I was in charge of. However before I could even transfer the files from my thumbdrive to the C drive, I realised that the PC didnt have any server that was connected to the IP telephone. Another problem! Another headache. I swear all of us we were so stress at that point of time.

Came back on Saturday hoping that the lab tech could help us with reseting of the password. Unfortunately, we were told that the administrator who was responsible for the PCs configuration in that particular lab was on leave. His colleague tried to help us with the administrator's password but it wasn't successful as the lab was set with different settings. So he advised us to come back on Monday at 8am to look for the specific lab tech. The feeling was so sucky and we felt that we're doomed. With presentaion in 2 days time and we couldn't get the thing running. Omg! Not only stress, but we were afraid.

As advised, reached school at 8am on Monday morning. Administrator came down and recalled the usual password he always used. BUT, still can't log in. Double triple stress! He went back to his office and came down with a CD and a small notebook. Went through it and re-installed the whole software that prompted him to set a new password. Success, it was.

By the time he was done with password resetting, both out evaluator and supervisor came in. So it was time to present and the IP telephone was still not working. Sucks! No time for us to look into the matter. No time for me to check what went wrong and so forth. I'm doomed! Individual evaluation and the whole network was playing trick on me. No choice, went on with it.

As expected after the whole demonstration, we received our piece. Evaluator and supervisor were of course not pleased with our work. We were told to come back on the coming Friday, at first, to present our WORKING network to them plus the Course Manager. Yes, CM. See how serious it was. They said what they wanted to say and left with words of encouragement.

INWT test at 2pm on that very same day. 3hrs left to study, yet I wasn't in the mood. Couldnt concentrate and kept thinking why must all this happened. Why were we so unlucky Why the IP telephone wasn't working when I desperately need it to work. Why need to present to Course Manager. Why Why Why.

2pm, sat for the paper. Was fortunate that the paper was manageable although I didnt study. Used up 30minutes of the 2hrs duration paper and left the lecture theatre. Checked my cybershot and Lirong left me a message that supervisor wanted to see me. Met her and was told that the whole group must present again on Wednesday at 10am, which was just now, with a condition that the network must be working. This was because she felt that we were unlucky on that Monday when the PC was locked and IP telephone was not working. So, she gave us another chance. It was really not our fault okay!

Good news, everything worked well just now! Hurray!! She was satisfied with our project and we need not come back on Friday to see CM. Relieved! We've passed the biggest hurdle, and insyallah, come May 08 we'll graduate with a Diploma In Mobile & Wireless Computing. Happy tak terkate =)
